The San Mateo County Transit District (District) is seeking the services of a qualified firm to provide paratransit operating service to eligible seniors and persons with disabilities who are residents of San Mateo County. This service is known as Redi-Wheels paratransit service (Redi-Wheels Service). The District will store, fuel, maintain, and repair all District-supplied vehicles. The District will also provide fareboxes and a communications system on District-supplied vehicles as well as a communications system on Contractor-supplied vehicles. The Contractor will be responsible for storage, fuel, maintenance, and repair of Contractor-supplied vehicles. The Contractor will also be responsible for the training and oversight of its entire staff including operators, supervisors, reservation takers, schedulers, and dispatchers necessary to book, dispatch, and manage the level of service described above.
